As part of Board area Customer Success, the Intelligent Delivery Group unit is implementing end-to-end solutions with our customers by translating their aspirations into business solutions. We strengthen the relationship with our customers and strive for long-term engagements.

At a very high level the role of the SAP Development Integration Consultant is:

  • To be the link between Management and the Integration/ Development/UX/UI teams performing the work.
  • Identify all the Integration and/or Development (Including UI) inputs required to implement a specific solution landscape.
  • Drill-down to the details with the Integration or Development or UX/UI, Business and/or Functional teams.
  • Facilitate across project lines, i.e., between various project teams both technical and non-technical.

A successful SAP Integration Development Consultant is not “only” an experienced consultant, but also an innovator, strategist, diplomat, consultant, and leader. The consultant will have broad SAP Product knowledge, an awareness of the latest Integration, SAP Development and/or UX/UI trends as well as have visibility of much of the breadth of the SAP solution. As a leader and consultant, the role will include:

  • Understanding that sometimes the biggest problem will not be technical.
  • Clear communication and presentation are a necessity at all levels on the project.
  • Ability to influence the key players and convince the stake holders.
  • Listening, negotiation and networking.
  • Expect to communicate across a broad spectrum of user communities - CIO, project managers, Integration, Development and UX/UI teams etc.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Generic Responsibilities:

  • To deliver SAP solutions based on business and functional requirements
  • Scrutinizes design for Integration, Development and/or UX/UI aspects
  • Serves as the focal point for Integration, Development and/or UX/UI issues
  • Provides direction on Integration, Development and/or UX/UI standards and guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Performance assessment and tuning of requirements’ assessment using SAP tools and benchmarks.
  • Collaboration with local project teams and partner community on Integration, Development and/or UX/UI aspects of projects and requirements.
  • Assist SAP teams (pre-sales, support, consulting, resourcing) with aspects related to SAP Integration, Development and/or UX/UI
  • Ability to liaise with SAP product, solution, and development management teams.
  • Perform SAP Integration, Development and/or UX/UI reviews, as required.
  • As part of the next-generation tools and game-changers at SAP, involved as part of a wider SAP team in driving the SAP’s vision through the SAP ecosystem, leveraging the internal SAP networks.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Degree or qualification with relevant work experience.
  • Various certifications supporting and demonstrating knowledge of SAP
  • Relevant industry certifications highly desirable
  • Experience as a SAP Developer / SAP Integration Consultant or SAP UI Developer(Fiori)
  • Experience with two or more BTP Services e,g Integration Suite (CPI)
  • Experience with ODATA, RESTful programming and CDS views
  • Knowledge of current trends in software design, architecture and web technologies
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Team player with an agile mindset
  • Experience in programming skills (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS) is a plus
  • Object-oriented programming skills (e.g. Java, C++, Python) is a plus
  • Experience with any SAP Functional Domain is definitely a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE
In order to successfully deliver the role of SAP Integration Development Consultant role, the experience is required in the following areas

  • SAP Integration, Development or UI/UX Architecture, Design, Implementation and Support
  • Architecture, Design, Delivery, Implementation, and Support in SAP’s Integration, Development and/or UX/UI tools
  • Design, Delivery, Implementation, and Support
